A Week’s Worth: 10/27-11/2

A few things from last week:

I attended a Tea and Meditation session at Cloyne last Saturday hosted by my friend Anika Rice and Berkeley Writer and mindfulness practicioner Chris Malcomb. We tasted three different kinds of teas: A silver needle white tea, a Taiwanese oolong, and a puerh tea. We integrated meditation between each testing and discussed the complimentary effects of tea and meditating. It was all very interesting. If you are interested in creative writing, mindfulness and tea, check out Chris’s website: www.mindfulwriter.org

I felt so refreshed after the tea/meditation session that I took a picture of the beautiful Berkeley campus on my walk back home.

What’s next: Halloween! My costume:

Hershey’s Kisses

And what I did with the leftover Hershey’s Kisses plus a little more:

Halloween Treats

Mini Pumpkin Bread

Rice Krispies treats dipped in white chocolate
