So I instagrammed this photo earlier today and I might as well share the recipe. Here it is!
2 slices of Ezekiel Bread
1/4 cup egg whites
1/4 almond milk (or milk of your choice)
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
a drop of vanilla extract
For toppings: coconut flakes, sliced almonds, maple syrup/honey, whatever your heart desires.
Mix the egg whites, almond milk, cinnamon/nutmeg/vanilla in a bowl.
I like small thin slices for my bread so I cut each slice lengthwise into 3 pieces. Then once that’s done, dunk the bread into the batter.
Use a non-stick pan and grease it with some coconut oil (lovee coconut oil). Cook the bread for about a minute to 2 on each side until golden brown and not liquidy anymore.
