I’m backk! I’ve missed blogging and so glad that I’ve been able to take some time today to get back to it.
The last few weeks have marked a lifestyle transition for me. Well for one I started a full-time job (and I’m loving it!)but its been keeping me busy. I swear I’ve become more of a grandma than I already was. Another big change is that now that I live in the South Bay, so I’ve been focusing my energy on my family friends and all that good stuff.
Have I been eating clean and working out all this time? To be honest, I’ve become more relaxed and have been skipping more workouts and indulging in more treats than normal — but that’s okay! I’ve been re-evaluating what it really means to be healthy and it all comes down to happiness. If sometime leaves you feeling unsatisfied and restricted then I would question it a bit! So I’m okay with “living a little” especially if I don’t have an immediate fitness goal I’m working towards.
Hmm so what’s new..oh 4th of July of course. I kept it low-key..hanging with friends and family in the Southbay.
Started off with a family brunch at Hobee’s (of course we went for the coffee cake!). Mmm the soft blueberry cake with the brown sugar crumble and a nice round ball of butter.
The best part was they gave us mini-pamphlets of The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, how patriotic!
Oh yea and that ankle brace..well I twisted my ankle so I’ve also been keeping away from the gym these last couple days. Okay that’s all and I promise to post again soon!
