It’s summer, it’s hot, and I’ve been craving ice cream.
I wanted something dairy free and healthier and came across the one ingredient vegan ice cream.
The secret? Frozen bananas. Oh my goodness I could not fathom how creamy they taste after giving them a good whirl.
As a huge chocolate addict, I catered the recipe to my needs 😉
What you’ll need is as frozen banana (preferably peeled and chopped up into coins–makes the blending a lot easier), 2-3 teaspoons of cocoa powder, and a drizzle of honey.
Toss all the ingredients into the blender and blend! You may need to scrap the sides a bit but I promise it works out.
I decided to top my ice cream with some coconut flakes and sprinkles. Ah I feel like a child once again :).
